About the Business
The history of Picton House's present owners, Haynes Fine Art, is naturally less antiquated than the house itself. Established in 1971, Haynes Fine Art, a family run business, quickly became the largest dealers fine art outside of London. With up to twenty four million pounds worth of stock we are able to offer the serious collector and trade a vast selection of works by important artists.
The galleries have built up a strong reputation for selecting major pieces by British artists, such as: John Atkinson Grimshaw; Arthur John Elsley; Joseph Farquharson; Heywood Hardy; David Shepherd; Sidney Richard Percy; and Alfred de Breanski Snr, to name but a few. More over, Continental names such as: Frederick Marius Kruseman; Frederico Andreotti; Alexej Harlamoff and Francois Brunery are extremely well represented.
The Haynes Family has always strived to offer not only a wide selection of world class images but also show a wide range of prices to suit most pockets.
