About the Business
The Cowley Cooper Gallery is located in Pump Street in the Cathedral Quarter of the City of Derry. It is housed in a beautiful Georgian building which was formerly known as the Good Shepherd Convent. The building is now shared by a collective of crafts, antiques, vintage clothing and of course the art gallery.
Christine Cowley is the proprietor of the gallery which is host to a consistent collection of contemporary Irish Art. Christine aims to provide an ever changing display of art in a fantastic location and does so beautifully. She is also wife to the very well known local artist Pat Cowley. Christine can offer guidance to buyers and collectors. Christine also knows all the artists personally and can liase with them to meet any customer requests. Having built up a significant reputation for showcasing the best in Irish Art in the city over recent years, the Cowley Cooper Gallery is now settling into its new home at bedlam in Pump Street.
